Ready to Register for Auditions?
Applications are now open for Cast and Crew (Ages 6–18).
Whether you dream of performing under the spotlight or
helping bring the magic to life behind the scenes,
there's a place for you at Up On Stage.
1. Read the Audition Information Pack.
2. Complete the Company Registration Form.
3. Learn the Company Song using the Practice Track.
4. Rehearse with the Backing Track for your audition.
5. See you at Auditions!

Download the Company Song and practise with the Practice Track (with vocals).
Once you're familiar with the song, rehearse using the Backing Track (instrumental), as this is the version that will be used during auditions.
Who Can Audition?
Up On Stage welcomes young people aged 6–18 who are passionate about theatre, whether they dream of performing, working backstage, learning lighting and sound, creating props and costumes, or becoming part of the production crew.
No prior experience is required. All we ask is enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to work as part of a team.
Each production begins with auditions, allowing our creative team to cast the production and assign roles that best suit each participant's strengths, interests and the needs of the show.
Places are limited to ensure every company member receives meaningful rehearsal time and opportunities to contribute. If registrations exceed available places, Up On Stage may explore additional casts, multiple productions or future opportunities wherever practical.
Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the very first time or returning for another production, you'll be welcomed into a company where every role matters and every person belongs.
